Beta 2 still has the bug, furthermore, it always crashes. Everytime. After PDF creation for instance. Very often. Windows 7 x64, Miktex, ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/devel/lyx-2.0 ... -Small.exe

I'm using Xetex as a documet default.

In the document properties, Lyx 2 beta 1 does not save the typewriter and sans serif font and always sets it to "default". Furthermore, it sets the sizes of both always to 10%.

The first CV you linked to compiled for me with PDFLaTeX without errors.

So frustrating. I've installed ALL packages from ctan. I tried "Curriculum vitae (europe)". Compiled with pdflatex. Now 4 error messages. Option clash, undefined control sequence, missing number, illegal unit of measure.

Tried xelatex as output then: "europasslogo not found"-. Interesting. Miktex ...

I'm new to Lyx. I'm using beta 2.0 and Miktex. Whats the best way to handle latex files? Should I rather edit the "source code" of the latex file?
If I import http://jblevins.org/cv.tex as a Latex source, Lyx presents me chaos and pdflatex will come up with hundreds of errors, which would take ...

I'm using Lyx 2 Beta + latest Miktex 2.9 which have good Xetex support. But it does not work here. What am I missing? On another machine, Xetex works, but I have installed every package which came with the Miktex distribution.

Do not start out of the box. Something is missing in the ressource folder of Lyx.
Also, the installer-bundle brings a winapi error in the miktex installer ...

I'm using LyX 1.6.8 on Windows 7 Pro x64. Today I installed Adobe Reader X - and it doesn't work with LyX any more: Adobe Reader does not open the generated PDF after you created the PDF with LyX. It only shows a welcome dialog like "Open last files - Acrobat services - etc".
