XeTeX ⇒ "expl3.sty not found"

Hi,

I'm using Lyx 2 Beta + latest Miktex 2.9 which have good Xetex support. But it does not work here. What am I missing? On another machine, Xetex works, but I have installed every package which came with the Miktex distribution.

Thanks in advance. I'm also a Latex newbie, and in rare cases I need some TTF fonts. Hence Xetex.

The error message is very clear. You have to install the expl3 package. This is best done by starting the MiKTeX Package Manager from the »Start« menu.

Oops, thanks. I was confused by other aspects and didn't see the easy solution. I'll try not to flood this forum with silly questions again.

Does not work on Miktex 2.9.3478 on Windows.

Every repository answers with a 404 error.

Okay, after Synchronizing Repositories in Package Manager in User and Admin modes, it is trying to download and install literally over 9000 new packages.

For a a fresh offline installation this is very nicely done.
