How to view KILE Output using Adobe Reader?
Hi everyone,
I am using KILE for past one month. I installed Okular to view the output compiled by KILE. It is good. Now my doubt is, how to view this output using Adobe Reader after compiling a tex file? Please let me know if anybody familiar with this.
Thanks and regards
Ramesh

There is no output done by KILE. The resulting output is generated by the used compiler engine (presumably PDFLaTeX here). Just install the Ad0be Reader (AR) by the package manager of your Linux distribution and adapt the settings of KILE accordingly. A search engine should help here.

Re: How to view KILE Output using Adobe Reader?
From your response it is not clear to me where the problem is (installation, settings, …?). I don't have the AR installed on my Linux system. And I never will. So I'm afraid I can't advise any further. Furthermore I think that the AR is no good partner when it comes to working with LaTeX. Okular is much better in this regard, but not perfect. I suggest to use the TeXworks editor, which offers an integrated PDF viewer with forward and reverse search vie SyncTeX technology. Your Linux distribution should have it in its repositories.

dude, i tried by re-installing KILE. The problem is still remain.
Do you know what settings i should make?
Please tell me if you know, otherwise leave it. Don't waste your time for this. It is working fine with Oklur.
Once again thanks

You should not use the „Wind0ws method“ to solve problems.jallurameshKUMAR wrote:dude, i tried by re-installing KILE. […]
No, I don't. The problem with AR are the DDE commands to control its behaviour. In opposite to e. g. TeXnicCenter (TXC) on Wind0ws, Kile does not support those DDE commands. I'm not sure if the AR is controllable via command line parameters. And if so, I don't know how this is done.jallurameshKUMAR wrote: Do you know what settings i should make? […]
