General ⇒ Installing new package and document class

Hi, I'm new to latex..I wonder if anyone here can help with two very basic questions
BTW, I'm using Miktex 2.7 from the latest Protext.

1.How to install a just downloaded package?
I just downloaded revtex4.1 and I put the rar file "revtex4-1-tds" in the directory ...\ProTeXt-2.2\MiKTeX\tm\packages
and then I open package browser and synchronize it. But the revtex4.1 does not appear

2. I downloaded a .cls file, where shall I put it ? How to use it after that?

Just use the MiKTeX Package Manager to install classes and packages [1]. You can find it in the »Start« menu. For more information refer to the MiKTeX Dcoumentation.
