Installing new package and document class

Hi, I'm new to latex..I wonder if anyone here can help with two very basic questions :)
BTW, I'm using Miktex 2.7 from the latest Protext.

1.How to install a just downloaded package?
I just downloaded revtex4.1 and I put the rar file "revtex4-1-tds" in the directory ...\ProTeXt-2.2\MiKTeX\tm\packages
and then I open package browser and synchronize it. But the revtex4.1 does not appear :(

2. I downloaded a .cls file, where shall I put it ? How to use it after that?

Sorry if my questions are of too low level :)

Just use the MiKTeX Package Manager to install classes and packages [1]. You can find it in the »Start« menu. For more information refer to the MiKTeX Dcoumentation.
