General ⇒ BAT file does has stopped working

BAT file does has stopped working

This BAT file:

miktex-pdflatex %1
miktex-bibtex %1
miktex-pdflatex %1
miktex-pdflatex %1

normally works fine. But now it simply repeats the commands in the file.

I have tried re-installing Miktex but that does not help.

How can I fix this problem?
