General ⇒ Problem starting Miktex with BAT file

Normally, I run Miktex with this BAT file:

miktex-pdflatex %1
miktex-bibtex %1
miktex-pdflatex %1
miktex-pdflatex %1

and for a long time it has worked perfectly.

But recently it stopped working. Now it simply repeats the lines in the file.

How can I get it working again?
