I have often had a problem when citing the same author in a document. For example for when two different works by the same author, the name of the author in the second reference will appear as dashes ( ----- ).

The company I work for has its own latex templates in the form of .cls files which they use for technical reports/papers and presentation slides.

I want to create LyX layouts based on those .cls files? Most of the websites I have checked online require a .sty file which I do not have ...
