reflecting un-numbered sections in ToC
Dear Colleagues -
How do you arrange things so that you have un-numbered sections in LaTeX and still have them reflected in the ToC?
Of course, would still like to have numbered chapters ...
Many thanks -

Re: Include pdf and reference pages
Thank you Colleagues,
This looks as though it's heading in the right direction. I need to clarify and then ask a further question though. Your patience is appreciated.
First, I am proposing to replace the Word docs with LaTex docs. There's not much I can do about the scanned pdf docs -- they are a ...

Re: Linebreaks in verse environment
Thanks — this looks good.
I realised can also use \bigskip et cetera (rusty on LaTeX) — but I will look at the Verse package.

Linebreaks in verse environment

I am looking for a way to close the gap between LaTex docs I make and professional-quality docs. Hyphenation behaviour looks quite different. I have a list of preferred hyphenations, but professionally-typset docs do it better, with fewer hyphenations. Any advice?

Re: Un-numbered sections in Frontmatter
Thanks Stefan,
Will investigate that --- not thinking too clearly after a long day's TeX-ing.
Strange thing I'm struggling with at the moment.
By manipulating secnumdepth and tocdepth, and starring various things in frontmatter, got the effect that I wanted. Will look at yours too --- probably ...
