I have two questions.


I tried to use article (japanese) from the document class of LyX 2.0 but it gave the error
LaTeX Error: This file needs format pLaTeX2e
I have been googling about this for months but not able to use [jarticle] class with LyX.
However, I am able to use pLaTeX ...

Hi, I have given up to get jarticle working with lyx. I already have platex installed but still lyx 2.0.2 is not able to get jarticle (article japanese from document class) is not able to load and keep telling me \NeedTexFormat platex2e.

But my question is not the above thats why I put in page ...

I cannot seem to find any way after searching for hours how to write in Japanese in LyX documents. I know it has something to do with CJK but I am totally lost at the moment.

I use Lyx on mac. So please tell me how can I make lyx to do that.

just a quick question. Once a LaTeX document is converted to PDF. Is there a way to know which editor was used (for example LyX or simple notepad) or something else from the PDF?
