LyX ⇒ pLaTeX2e Error Message

Hi Users,

I have two questions.

1. I tried to use article (japanese) from the document class of LyX 2.0 but it gave the error

   Code: Select all

   LaTeX Error: This file needs format pLaTeX2e

   I have been googling about this for months but not able to use [jarticle] class with LyX.
   However, I am able to use pLaTeX from the command line, as pLaTeX is installed on my Mac OS. but cannot figure how can i say this to LyX that I have pLaTeX installed.
2. when we view source in LyX. How can i view source without <LyX warnings>. Is there a way i can disable the warnings?
