LyX ⇒ strange error

Hi everyone. First of all, this community is amazing. I've used it countless times, but now I have a super strange error that I can't find anything about.

Every time I write a new document in lyx, and I cross reference equations, it works fine. When I return to the file, however, all of my cross references compile as question marks! If I add a new cross reference, everything works fine. But I have to do it everytime. This began after I updated to 2.3.

Any thoughts? Thanks for your help!
