BibTeX, biblatex and biber ⇒ [Biblatex] Bibtex changes are not reflected in bibliography

I'm working on a large document with a fairly large bibliography. When I correct mistakes in my bibtex file (using bibdesk) and recompile the document, the changes are not reflected in my bibliography. I'm using latex in combination with biblatex.

I've tried to delete all temporary files, run cleanup. But nothing works. Is bibtex using a cache of some sort?

Nevermind, I was modifying the wrong bibtex file. sorry for wasting your time and thanks for the reply
