Hi,
psfrag doesn't recognize the strings in a EPS generated with wmf2eps from a powerpoint slide. If I open/save the same eps in Corel, psfrag can find the string and replace it. I tried to compare EPS code for both version but they're totally different (but text tags are not rasterized), and I don't want to open/save everytime in Corel. Moreover, if the EPS contains a bitmap I can't even open it in Corel because it throws an unexpected error....
Cheers,

Re: psfrag and wmf2eps problem
Id depends how the text is written inside the EPS. psfrag looks for a literal string. What could be happening is that something like "A phrase" is being split up into separate letters, each of which is printed separately. Without seeing the EPS files it is hard to say.
