is there any snippets to find the total number of words in a single chapter ?

I'd say that greatly depends on the editor you're using.
I'm not aware of a LaTeX package that would render such information.
Maybe the information you're seeking is somewhere to be found in the *.log file?

TexCount can do subcounts by chapter.
