produce two PDF files from single latex source

Post by phoenix »

Hi group,

I am formatting my CV in latex, and I would like to produce two PDF documents. One should be the complete CV and the other should be a CV with selected publications, seminars, etc...

Is there a way that i can have a single latex source code and somehow mark entries that i would like to be omitted from the "selected talks" CV, and then produce two PDF files from the single latex source code? One PDF should include all entries and the other should produce the same document with certain entries omitted? Is this possible?

any help is appreciated!
