Until recently, I was LaTeXing with MikTeX on a PC. I am now working with MacTeX (TeXLive) on a Mac. Last year, for one project, I was sent additional font files (.tfm, .pdb, and .vf) necessary for the work on MikTeX.
I would like to simply port those fonts to the MacTeX distribution. I understand the TeX Directory Structure and the steps needed to install and update the distribution with the new fonts. However, I am uncertain as to how to create the font definition files from the .tfm, .pdb, and .vf files that were sent to me.
