chemical bonds

Post by rajini »

Hello everyone,

we know how to make following symbols: hyphens, minus, and two different dashes.
Is there any possibility in latex to make symbol for bond ?
For eg., C-C where '-' is a bond.

thanks

Hi Torbjorn,
after playing with mhchem, i found that it is a good. Anyways they just use $-$ (minus symbol) for bond. The only difference is that the subscript is little lowered.

thanks for your tip.
