General ⇒ TXC2 alpha 3, WinXP, utf8 encoding : how ?

Hi,

With TXC2 alpha 3 under windows XP (SP3), I don't have options for changing encoding (when using "save as"). I don't have the problem on another PC with Windows 7. It's been reported in the bug report list six months ago (http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.ph ... tid=416430), but the status is closed and the field Resolution displays "works for me"... well it's not my case

Do you have any idea why ?

I just started my Windows system² to comprehend that problem, but I can't. As in TXC2 alpha 2 it also works for me with the current alpha version. This seems to be an issue that is not clearly reproducible.

Too bad... I was afraid you were going to have the same answer as in TXC2 alpha 2. I add (dunno if it matters), that I'm under XP Pro. I'll try to send a post on a French forum (my native language), to find out if other people have observed this "save as behaviour".
