using LNCS for TeXnicCenter

Post by oxana »

Hi everybody,

I'm a lost Latex beginner using TexnicCenter trying to create a document in the LNCS format from Springer-Verlag. Unfortunately the explications on their page are not helpful for a lame beginner like me at all, so I am looking for somebody with experience in the matter to give me some practical advice (where to begin mainly, step by step guidelines for dummies) or maybe some useful links with simple explanations about using the format.

Many thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

It seems that you should go to the LNCS Author Instructions Page and then to Proceedings and Other Multiauthor Volumes - Using LaTeX2e. Then download and uncompress llncs2e.zip. Start reading llncsdoc.pdf, which explains how to write your paper.
