Changing the size of specific text to any pt

Post by devito »

Hey,

I have an issue that i can't seem to figure out how to solve.

Imagine i have a setence like "Hello, my name is <Name>!". How could i put this sentence with different text sizer, for example with "Hello" in 10pt size, "my name is" in 16pt and "<Name>" in 22pt?

I have looked on the internet but i always find the \huge, \large, etc commands which i don't want to use. I need something where i can pass the size of the text to whatever i want.

All help is welcome.
Thanks

An answer has already been given in another forum. It would be very nice (and polite in particular), if you would mention when you do a cross posting.

Best regards
