LOG/error console is gone
Hi everyone,
My question is quite simple, althought it's eating me for quite some time.
My log view has disappeared and I can't find it back. So I'm missing out on all the (error) messages. Any ideas how to activate this view?
I am using TeXnicCenter 1 Beta 6.31.
Thanks in advance

Hi Red Devil!
Have You tried to switch it on in the menu VIEW => OUTPUT-BAR ?
(And what about upgrading to TeXnicCenter 1 BETA 7.01?)

Thanks for your reply. I tried switching on the OUTPUT-BAR button but that didn;t work out. I also upgraded to beta 7.01, that didn't work either. It probably cached my previous settings?

Re: LOG/error console is gone
Okay, an other solution:
the output-bar can be hidden behind the taskbar!
(if You have moved it over the bottom of the TexnicCenter window)
=> unfix Your taskbar
=> move it to the top of the screen (click and move it with your mouse)
=> move output-bar back to TexnicCenter window...

I tried, and placed the taskbar on all sides but I didn't see a console popping up. Also tried activating the output bar button several times.
It's just vanished, I think windows ate it!

Sorry,
but it was worth the try...
So it seems You have to completely uninstall TeXnicCenter,
clean up the installation path and Your registry to get the full
installation (with the output-bar) again!

Thanks for your help. I did find a log file within the folder with my text files.
I think the messages are in there?
Again thanks!

Re: LOG/error console is gone
I ran into the same issue.
In order to fix it, I upgraded to TeXnicCenter 1 Beta 7.01, although I'm not sure this step really is required.
Once the application was upgraded, I opened my .tex file in full screen mode and then tried to open the Output bar.
The Output bar showed up, and I docked it to the lower border of the screen. Issue fixed.
