Generating Document Outline

Post by listanand »

Hello everyone,

I am new to LaTeX, so please bear with me :)

I want to generate a document outline in the final PDF that gets produced. Something like this: http://www.actiprosoftware.com/products ... utline.gif

The above is just an example. The outline I want should obviously show the contents of my document. How can I do this? I am using MikTex on Windows XP.

Thanks in advance.
Andy

Do you mean in the document itself or in the PDF bookmarks? The later is easy (hyperref deals with everything for you).
