Is SVG a good vectorial format to use with LaTeX?

Post by arli »

Hi. I need to produce diagrams with images mixed with text and I want them to be vectorial.

However the program I use only exports to SVG (and not to EPS). Is this problematic?

In principal a vector graphics format is good. But the SVG graphics format is not supported neither by latex nor pdflatex. But you can convert it with for example Inkscape. It works very good for both EPS and PDF export.
