Document Classes ⇒ memoir class & unnumbered subsections

Since I've switched to the memoir class my subsections are unnumbered.
I've been reading the titlesec manual and I'm looking for just the command to enable numbering.

Who knows this out of his head?

Why don't you just read the memoir manual (Section 6.3 - Numbering, p. 74f)? It explains what you need to do. In this regard there's no necessity for an additional package.
