Hello,
I am writing my thesis in Lyx (on Mac) and everything seems to be working out as I want it, except for the bibliography.
I would like to have the following outputs in (1) the text and (2) the bibliography section:
(Hyatt & Rosenberg 1996)
Hyatt, L. & Rosenberg L. (1996), A Software Quality Model and
Metrics for Identifying Project Risks and Assessing Software Quality.

The first one works out, but in the bibliography, lyx adds my labels between brackets:
[Hyatt & Rosenberg 1996] Hyatt, L. & Rosenberg L. (1996), A Software Quality Model and
Metrics for Identifying Project Risks and Assessing Software Quality.
Geraadpleegd op 21 december 2009 uit http://satc.gsfc.nasa.gov/
support/STC_APR96/qualtiy/stc_qual.html
Would it be possible to hide the labels? My bibliography isn't put in a seperate .bib-file and I would prefer to keep it this way, if possible. I am using the standard lyx bibitems and putting the author name and year in the labels.
I have \bibliographystyle{apalike} in my preamble and chosen natbib author-year in the settings. What should I do next?
Any help would be deeply appreciated!
Thanks in advance
Sebastiaan
P.S.: another small question: when I am putting the author and year in the label, is it possible to add a comma between the author and the year, to get e.g. (Hyatt & Rosenberg, 1996)
For the moment, lyx gives an error when I try this.
