Stretch the last column in two-column document

Post by dangean »

Hi,

I have been searching for a solution to this problem for some time now, but did not succeed.
In a two-column document using \flushbottom LaTeX stretches all columns to fill the whole hight of the page. However the last column remains ragged. It can be desirable to stretch the last column as well, especially if it is almost completely filled. I can do this by using \pagebreak and writing some non-sense on the additional page, but there should be a nicer way!

Thanks!
