How to set text as URL?

Post by anta40 »

How to set any text as URL?
For example, if I click the text foobar, then it will open http://www.foobar2000.org/ on your browser.

Insert -> URL doesn't work, because you have to type in the full URL.

I'm not sure how it works in LyX but the command you are looking for is \href{URL}{text} provided by the hyperref package.

In stead of Insert --> URL, use Insert --> Hyperlink, right below it.
