Configuration Wizard

Post by fallou »

I have completely installed Latex but when I launch it I get this message:" Enter the full of the directory where the executables of your tex-distribution are located".
I am confused, I used to work with Latex but I never got this problem.

Configuration Wizard

This is no problem but only a matter of configuration. The last version auto-detected by TeXnicCenter (TXC) was MiKTeX 2.4 about five years ago. The installation path on my machine³ is the default one given by the setup.

Code: Select all

C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2.8\miktex\bin
On systems newer than XP this can differ. For other LaTeX distributions you have to take a look at the disk partition where your operating system is located.

Best regards and welcome to the board
