Cannot open DDE link: Acroview Error

Post by steve de costa »

Hi,

I primarily use BlueBeam Pdf Viewer for my computer (I just like it better). However, I have installed the free Adobe Acrobat Read 9 as well on my laptop.

Every time I try to compile a PDF TeXify in WinEdt, I get the attached error. I googled this for a little bit but wasn't getting anywhere with it. Can anyone please tell me how can I stop this?

The funny thing is, that even after this error pops up, I can still view the PDF output in BlueBeam Software.

Does anyone have any ideas about this?? OR is the problem too simple? Or too complicated?

You have to replace Acrobat OpenDoc-Find.edt and Acrobat OpenDoc.edt with the new versions (download them here: http://www.winedt.org/temp/).

Thanks a lot! Even if it's not the newest post - it did the thing for me today!
