Cursor put behind (e.g. Math-)Environment (since 1.6.5)

Post by mfs »

Hi guys,

I recently installed LyX 1.6.5 to profit from all the bug fixes in that version. But using the new version I noted that when I insert an environment that makes a red box (like the Math-Environment by pressing Ctrl-M or a fraction by pressing Alt-M F), the cursor is not IN the box (as it was in previous versions of LyX and as I would call it intuitive), but RIGHT FROM the box.

This behavior is quite annoying: If you want to have a fraction, you have to press Alt-M F to insert the \frac{}{} environment and then go back with the cursor keys to fill in the numerator.
In 1.6.4 you just needed to press Alt-M F and could immediately fill in the numerator.

Does anybody know how this behavior can be changed to what it was in 1.6.4 and previous?

Thanks in advance for your help!

mfs.

Browsing the bug tracker a little I could find that this behavior is a reported bug (#6382) which is already fixed since release r32480.

Sorry for the post!
