How to do a "subfigure" using TikZ

Post by juriguen »

Hi all

This is my first post, and I have been playing around with TikZ for a short while, so I have a lot to learn and, hopefully, my question is easy to solve.

I want to do the following drawing the best possible way:

I have used a matrix of nodes for the "input", the intermediate "boxes" and the sampling circuit. And I have defined special nodes with \def in the TikZ picture, to be able to draw the "input" and the sampling circuit.

But I want to know if there is any better way to do it. And if there is a more flexible way since, for instance, if I want to add text, I need to define a node to place the text, and another so that it is used as the matrix node at the correct place.

Thanks
Jose
