problems compiling on various PCs using cyrillic language

Post by gasor »

Hi community,

a while ago i start to write on a report for my uni that uses partly russian words and therefore i need cyrillic letters. I should mention at this point that i use the most recent TeXnicCenter (http://www.texniccenter.org/ and MiKTeX 2.8.
For the cyrillic is use this: http://www.cromwell-intl.com/russian/latex.html#latex

Now i have following problem: on my home PC this package doesnt work, although i can compile my work but the output leave blank spaces where cyrillic letters should show up. I tried this also at work, and this cyrillic package did work and i could compile all my stuff on a test-article but also on a new report (one of the texnic-templates). After a wrote some time I wanted to arrange a bit the layout of this report and used a lot of packages that i used already on other report (but just in T1-encoding languages).
Since I implemented these packages my pc on work does create an output file anymore and shows me following error:
error shown while compiling
error shown while compiling
errormsg.JPG (73.65 KiB) Viewed 2102 times

As i said, the same file is compilable on my home PC just without the cyrillic letters, and what is even more weird is that i gave all this to a friend, using exactly the same setup (texnic+miktex same version) and he get it all compiled correctly.

Now I really have no idea where to find the error as it seem to me totally random and has nothing to do with latex actually but with the computer.
I have created a MWE which is similar to my work, using the same packages (switched off by a %) and structure. You will find this here
MWE.rar
this mwe has the same structure as my actual work witht he same problems
(124.02 KiB) Downloaded 95 times
I hope someone can help me with this problem, otherwise i might be forced to switch over to word as i have a deadline running out slowly...

Thanks in advance, Gasor.

Hey Guys,

sorry for replying my own thread. But is there really no one who could have an idea, or even just a guess, what the problem could be?
I think every small hint could help me on this.

Thanks.

Please post an example TeX file that we can test out. This is almost always the best way to gain enlightenment. Also consider posting the log files you get.

problems compiling on various PCs using cyrillic language

Hi Joseph, i actually attached a MWE in my first post which applies the same structure as the tex-project i have problems with.

also when i compile at my home pc an error message occurs and shows following:
error message
error message
mwe2.JPG (41.97 KiB) Viewed 2077 times
without producing any cyrillic in the output.
I also dont know how i could fix that problem that this font is not loadable. maybe someone knows an answer to that?
