Hello friends,

Is there any possiblities of converting microsoft excel charts into latex compatible ".eps" format type..

If so, please let me know..

Regards,

Yes I believe so. If you select the chart you want and right-click on it there should be an option "Move Chart". Move the chart to a new sheet and then when in that new sheet, go save as and there should be an option to publish as a .eps file.
This is using Office 2008, if you have a different version it might not work exactly the same.

Hope that helps

That was my problem before days, but I have the solution now :D :

1. Install the adobe Generic PostScript Printer(free), or other PS driver.
2. Go to its properties - advanced - printing default - advanced - postscript options - postscript output option - (select eps)
3. in Ms.Excel, print "selcet chart" using the above PS printer, remember print to file! print to "younameit.ps"
4. Open "younameit.ps" in GS view, select menu PS-EPS, choose automatic bounding box.
5. Output to "younameit.eps", bingo!
_
Or if you have Adobe acrobat professional it is even easier!
somebody use GIMP to generate thecopy & pasted chart to eps, you may give a try!
