Folks,
I've got manual instructions, which are valid for teTeX, but it would be good to push Latvian support into TeXLive once and for all! How should I do that? Who should I post?

What is necessary, exactly? Not being familiar with Latvian, I'm a little confused.

1) these two files unpacked into /usr/share/texmf:

2) /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/babel/babel.sty += \DeclareOption{latvian}{\input{latvian.ldf}}
3) /usr/share/texmf/web2c/updmap.cfg += *.map files list
4) /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/language.def += latvian lvhyphen.tex
5) @ /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/ucs/data/uni-1.def change \uc@dclc{291}{dirty}{\leavevmode\vbox{\baselineskip ... to \uc@dclc{291}{default}{\v g}%%
(otherwise "ģ" is not displayed).
About this... So fonts, babel, ģ, ...
