After updating TexLive 2009 problem with PDF

Post by clemens »

Hello,

I am using TexLive (xetex) with Lyx. Everything was working fine until I decided to update texlive 2009 through tlmgr.
Now, when I try to export to pdf (xetex) I get the following error: file "metalogo.sty" not found. The description is the following: \setlogokern {Te}{-0.15em}^^M *** (cannot \read from terminal in nonstop modes
What should I do?
Cheers

After updating TexLive 2009 problem with PDF

TeX Live 2009 is currently in the pretesting phase thus not meant to be for productive application.
TeX Users Group wrote:Testers should try it not with the expectation that “everything should work perfectly” (it won't), but rather “I'll try this out and see if I can help improve it”.

Best regards

Hi,

thanks for the reply.
What I meant is that the previous version of texlive 2009 was working fine. Anyhow I downloaded the file metalogo.sty, installed it, did a texhash and now everything is back to normal. I guess the update didn't automatically include a dependent file.

Just for the sake of completeness: As you already found out, the TeX-Live mailing list (tex-live@tug.org) is a better place for reporting TeX-Live bugs.
