Hello all

Post by stuv »

I'm a geochemist phd that was told about Latex by another phd in the maths dept. Liked how powerful it was so started using texcentre under vista. Got fed up with all the issues of vista so have now switched to ubuntu and am running kile. Getting there slowly with all the in's and out's of latex still. Getting good on the basics. But thought I should join to help with the more complex issues.

I'm sure you will not regret your decision. And you will get to grip with LaTeX after a certain time of training and a little help.

Best regards and welcome to the board
