When I start texniccenter, the tool bars along the top appear in apparently random and inconvenient positions.
Is there a way to fix the toolbars so they stay in position when the program is restarted?
Thanks,
Steve

I experienced the same thing... It's very annoying actually...
Has anyone got any idea about how to fix it?

Re: Toolbars placed randomly at startup
Hi,
I am using version 1.0 RC1 - The problem occurs every time when opening in Full screen mode.
After opening TeXnicCenter resize manually the size of the window. After that the problem occured never again to me.

Toolbars placed randomly at startup
Except for idefix2007 nobody told the concerned version of TeXnicCenter (TXC). It's always helpful to know that. Moreover the used operating system is important.

Toolbars placed randomly at startup
That is the correct solution. After that manual resizing, you can go back to the maximized state. Somehow the toolbars are placed according to the normal (non-maximized) state of the window; regardless of the actual state.idefix2007 wrote: After opening TeXnicCenter resize manually the size of the window. The problem is solved in 2.0 Alpha 1.
