How to get more space between equations

Post by call me ishmael »

Hi all,

This may sound a bit stupid but how do I create blank space between lines of equations, I have tried using \\ then pressing enter but it keeps jamming the equations in like sardines.

Thank you in advance for any help is greatly appreciated

Hi,

you could use \\[length] or adjust \jot by \setlength and use multiline math environments like align of amsmath.
