Hi all,
I've also posted this on the General LaTeX forum, but am thinking now that my problem is probably a WinEdt one, since it doesn't happen on my home Mac with the same files. Basically, recently when I go to compile my papers with bibliographies on my office computer (PC, WinEdt), the title and automatic text in the bibliography (using BibTeX) is translated to French! I am unaware of having changed any settings. Does anyone have any ideas of what might be going on or how to stop it?
Many thanks,
Abby

Re: Mysterious translation into French
Hi there,
Can I ask if you are using babel language package? If so, the problem might come from there. Make sure that you comment this out, when compiling in English.
Just a tought. Cheers

Mysterious translation into French
To me it doesn't look like a problem of your editor but more of the configuration of your LaTeX system on the concerned machine. But, please do me a favour and don't open another thread for this topic in the forum for your distribution.abbrown wrote:[...]

This seems to be a problem of language and format files on the concerned system. You didn't write which LaTeX distribution you are using, so giving specific help is nearly impossible. The log file may give a hint what's going wrong.
Best regards
Thorsten
