When I was developing some templates for myself and I had put several templates into one folder, I wanted to classify these template files via the file properties, which can be changed and set in the windows explorer e.g. by a right-mouse-click on the file, selecting 'properties' and afterwards 'information' (Dateiinfo). There one can fill in the author of the file, the category, key words etc. So far, so good, this works perfectly up to here. This feature of file properties and the additional information is generally pretty useful for classifying and/or ordering (a long list of) files in the windows explorer.
But when I opened the template again, made some changes, saved and closed it again, the information in the file properties which I had filled in, completely disappeared, so I guess TeXnicCenter overwrote the old file information by empty entries (see attached pictures). This, of course, not only applies to templates, but to any .tex files processed with TeXnicCenter.
Can this behaviour be changed somehow, because filling in the file information after each change again is not very practical...?? (On the other hand, I really would like to use this feature of windows explorer, because it is pretty helpful...)
I tried this procedure also with simple .txt files in the Windows editor, i.e., filled in additional file information, closed, opened, changed and saved it again, but the file information was completely maintained.
