Good evening writers!
As we are not many in here, I will take my chance to introduce you with myself. It has been some time since I am using LaTeX, this far I wrote my physics thesis with it, also maintain a CV and some other appliances. Its not really necessary to talk about the advantages of TeX in here, but there are many things unclear for me about TeX distributions and their differences (how compatible LaTeX script is?). Also I might happen to bother you with some specific technical questions - if I become annoying, please warn me :)
So, I decided to register in here, later I post some questions. I hope we'll have a good time, as I'm not about to abandon LaTeX any soon, even if I happen to use it just sometimes. Ah, I love TeX to be a plaintext source for me, so I'm not dependent on any special converter, but me myself!

This reminds me of my own story. I'm sure we can clarify things that are unclear.

Best regards and welcome to the board
