Figures look good in .DVI, but are cutoff in .PDF

Post by exclinto »

Hi there,

When I compile my document and view it as a .DVI file, everything looks fine. However, if I use dvi2pdf, the left hand portion of SOME of the images are cutoff. I know that they're aren't outside of the margins, since they're rather small images. HELP.....

Take the route LaTeX => DVI => PS => PDF and see what happens.

Okay, I tried going Latex -> DVI -> PS -> PDF, but I am getting an error message trying to convert from .ps to .pdf (I just used the button with the ps2pdf icon in WinEdt). I snooped around the directory and I could not find the PS2PDF.edt file. Is that the problem or am I doing something else wrong?

Thanks for your help,
Clint

Hi, I found a resolution to the problem. Ended up installing GhostScript and found a site that showed how to convert from ps to pdf. All is well, Thanks!
