Page Layout ⇒ Plain Footer

Hallo,

I'm using fancyhdr for the majority of a report I'm doing but want footer of the top matter to be different. I've successfully used \thispagestyle{plain} up to now, but my TOC has just spilled over into 2 pages and is only likely to get longer. Is there a way I can re-action the \thispagestyle{plain} command onto the 2nd page of the TOC?
