General ⇒ cannot insert slovak characters

Hi.
I've got installed texniccenter 1.0 stable rc1 and i've got problem with inserting slovak characters in the texniccenter's editor. When i try to insert such letters as ľščťž... it inserts some different characters as 3/4 sign etc.. When i copy these characters from texniccenter into another program, all characters are correct.

Any advice? Thanks in advance

It is because Texniccenter 1.0 does not support unicode characters. The next version (2.0), for which the source code is already available, will support it.

do yo know when it will be possible to download the new version? on sourceforge there's still only v1.
