Preserving formatting, but not font

Post by colsandurz »

Hello,

I am in a situation where I need to preserve the formatting of my document. I'm using the alltt package to do this. The problem is that this package changes the font to typewriter. Is there a way to not change the font, but still preserve the formatting? Also, I tried using \verbatim and the same thing happened.

Thanks
devin

I assume you are after something like the listings package.
