Own Text Module

Post by hernan »

Hello everyone:

I have a couple of questions regarding the "own text module" wizard of Texniccenter.

First, is there a way to assign a customized button to a string of text entered through text modules?

Second, is there a way to move the defined text modules up/down in the
list shown in the Text Modules window? I'm asking because, as far as I
know, you can only assign a keyboard shortcut to the module on the top of the
list only.

Thanks for your suggestions!

S.T.

Hi Hernan,

unfortunately I haven't the reply to your question, but I was interested too in customizing my own text modules...

So I tried to change the config through the Windows Registry, and... I messed everything up!
In fact, I swapped two modules in the Registry, but nothing changed in texniccenter, apart that now I'm no longer able to manage the modules even from within texniccenter... :?

So, don't repeat my mistake... ;)

(btw, if you know how to play with the Registry, please tell me!)
