Line breaking

Hi....

My TexLive (in Ubuntu) is not breaking lines... so I have to put the page breaks myself.... how can I solve this?

First you should clarify if we are talking about line breaks or page breaks. Nevertheless your information is very poor. The best way to get a clue is to provide a minimal working example (MWE).
