attached file in footmark

Post by Port »

Hi!
I want to put a reference (using attachefile.sty) to an external file into a foortmark or marginpar. Is somebody there who is knowing the right way to do this? Thanks in advance!

Use the standard syntax for footnotes and marginpars.

Code: Select all

\footnote{\attachfile[description=<text>]{<filename>}}
\marginpar{\attachfile[description=<text>]{<filename>}}
For better setting in a marginpar try the marginnote package.

Code: Select all

\marginnote{\attachfile[description=<text>]{<filename>}}

Thanks for the quick reply. It works fine - bur only for files which are standing in the same directory as the .tex-files. For others it dosn´t work. But so far it´s good enough.
Thanks
