Gents, please advise.

I have been trying to create a table having certain column lines looking different. E.g. certain column borders should have bigger thickness than others to put attention to these columns (or several columns between these bold separator lines). As an example, it can be a "vertical frame" of the table.

It appears that what I need is the analog to booktabs, which can can have top, mid, and bottom rules of different thickness. , BUT to columns.

Greatly appreciate you help! I have been searching the net all the day(
